Job summary

Pro Social Partners are recruiting Senior Support Workers for their residential children's homes in the Winkfield area. The role involves leading shifts, delivering day-to-day care, and supporting planning and records to ensure a safe, nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will have a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare and at least two years of senior experience, with a calm, resilient approach and a strong teamwork ethic. Competitive pay and structured progression are offered.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is essential.
• At least two years' experience as a Senior Support Worker or equivalent in a children’s home.
• Calm, warm, and resilient approach to supporting children with emotional/behavioural difficulties.
• Reliability and teamwork to help lead a safe, nurturing home.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts, offering direction and support to residential support workers.
• Provide day-to-day care, structure, and positive role modelling for the children in the home.
• Support care planning, key working, risk assessments, and daily records.
• Help children build life skills, attend school, and enjoy activities and community life.
• Work a mixed shift pattern across mornings, afternoons, and full days, with one weekend on average off in three.
