Job summary

BrightPath Kids Windsor West, CT is seeking a Lead Teacher for a full-time role with no evenings or weekends. You will work alongside families and other teachers to provide a warm, home-like setting guided by NAEYC standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or CDA, or Head Teacher certification, or 12 ECE credits.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of licensed child care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision for children ages 6 weeks–12 years in one classroom.
• Develop developmentally appropriate curriculum per NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children's interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe, clean environment that permits children to grow and explore.
• Partner with families to create plans for optimal care and education.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians.
