Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of experience working with groups of children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, camp counseling, or similar).
• Available during after-school hours at least 4 days per week; 5 days preferred during peak weeks.
• Reliable transportation and ability to reach most or all classes in the metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students, keeping them engaged and well-behaved.
• Travel to multiple schools/classes; mileage reimbursement for trips over 15 miles one way.
• Assist Area Manager in coaching instructors and ensuring quality visits and feedback.
• Assist with training, coaching, and performance evaluation of instructors.
