Job summary

Pinch A Penny, a POOLCORP Company, seeks a Chemical Production Supervisor to lead daily blending operations and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production in Clearwater, FL.

The role combines hands-on leadership with technical expertise in chemical processes, supporting R&D from formulation to scale-up and coordinating with Planning, Maintenance, Quality, and Operations to maintain batch records and regulatory documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Industrial Chemistry.
• At least three years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Solid knowledge of chemical blending, batch manufacturing, and formulations.
• Strong mathematical and chemical calculation skills, including batch scaling.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily liquid and dry chemical blending operations across shifts.
• Coordinate production priorities, staffing, materials, equipment, and schedules.
• Support R&D activities including formulation, reformulation, testing and scale-up.
• Ensure batch records, COAs, and lot traceability meet regulatory standards.
• Drive Lean and Continuous Improvement to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
