Job summary

BLEACHTECH seeks an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead daily plant operations in Seville, OH. You will oversee plant operators, coordinate priorities, and ensure safe, compliant manufacturing during assigned shifts.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in chemical manufacturing with 3+ years in supervision, a technical diploma, and strong knowledge of DCS and P&IDs. Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Production Management to maintain safe, continuous operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in chemical manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible plant operator experience with supervisory duties.
• Technical diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of chemical processing equipment and process safety.
• Experience operating or troubleshooting DCS and reading P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily plant operations to ensure safe, efficient production.
• Coordinate shift activities, staffing, and production priorities.
• Monitor and control plant processes using DCS and plant instrumentation.
• Oversee operation of pumps, tanks, agitators, valves, and chemical processing equipment.
• Coordinate plant startups, shutdowns, and operational adjustments with Engineering/Production Management.
• Identify deviations, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor production performance and seek efficiency and reliability improvements.
• Ensure timely completion of shift reports and logs.
