Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Lead Instruments and Controls Engineer to support Ortloff's cryogenic gas processing technologies. You will provide technical leadership in instrumentation and controls, oversee design and startup activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept to start-up.

The role requires travel up to 20% annually, hybrid work with potential 100% onsite first 90 days, and a competitive base salary in the range of $146,000 to $182,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• 6+ years in instrumentation and controls engineering.
• 6+ years in startup and field operations, with cryogenic gas processing experience valued.
• Advanced proficiency in Instrument and Process Control Design.
• Advanced proficiency in Process Automation and Optimization.
• Advanced proficiency in DCS systems.
• Strong problem-solving, diagnostic, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in process simulation software and instrumentation design tools.
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities
