Job summary

Hudson Table Holdings LLC is seeking a Lead Chef and General Manager to oversee all operational aspects of our Stamford location. You will lead a team to deliver an unforgettable culinary experience while fostering an outstanding work environment.

You will own the role under management guidance, with growth opportunities as the business expands across multiple locations. This role involves leading at least 2 events per week, with additional compensation for events and tips.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years experience in an Executive Chef/Kitchen Manager role.
• Detail oriented with high professional integrity.
• Current food safety accreditation.
• Great people skills with team management in fast-paced settings.
• Confident, positive communicator.
• Proficient with Google’s Suite (Sheets/Docs/Mail) and inventory procurement platforms.
• Purchasing, receiving and cost control experience.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Place all food orders and receive all deliveries, storing purchases per safety practices and keep storage areas clean.
• Hire, train/onboard and schedule Chef Instructors, Kitchen Assistants, Hosts and Dishwashers.
• Handle maintenance/repairs or coordinate with trades as needed; assemble flat-pack furniture when required.
• Lead catered events on/off-site including menu development, costing and ordering.
• Assist in facilitating private events and rentals.
• Ensure sanitation and safety standards are maintained location-wide.
• Monitor operational equipment stock and submit replenishment requests.
• Manage refuse and recycling in line with local schedules.
• Collaborate with Beverage Director to manage stock and drive sales.
• Provide tours of the location and offerings to prospective clients.
