Lakeside Capital Group Management LLC is seeking a Lead Chef in Post Falls, ID to oversee the back of the house at The Grill & Tap House. This hands-on leadership role runs the line, trains the kitchen team, controls food costs, and sets culinary standards for a golfers’ clubhouse and events.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in professional kitchens, a culinary credential, and experience with menu development, seasonal sourcing, and strict safety practices.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional kitchen experience, including leadership roles.
• Culinary degree or certificate, or equivalent apprenticeship preferred.
• Experience managing food cost, inventory, ordering, and kitchen labor.
• Menu development experience with a record of improving quality and profitability.
• Experience in golf course, resort, or hospitality with seasonal demand.

Responsabilidades

• Lead back-of-house operations and set standards for prep, presentation, and cleanliness.
• Work the line during service to maintain pace and quality.
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise kitchen staff; coach for performance.
• Build a professional kitchen culture with low turnover and clear expectations.
• Partner with front-of-house leadership for smooth service from order to table.
• Develop and refresh menus for on-course service, banquets, and events.
• Standardize recipes and prep lists to ensure consistency across cooks.
• Control food cost through portion control and waste tracking; negotiate with vendors.
• Plan food for tournaments, weddings, and corporate events with scalable production.
• Ensure safety and sanitation compliance with health codes and certifications.
