Gamble Sands in Brewster, WA is seeking a full-time Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role reports through Troon and offers opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow within a premier golf and community management organization.

Compensation ranges from $78,000 to $90,000 based on experience, with a focus on high standards, teamwork, and culinary excellence across all service periods.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing food preparation: ensure each dish meets restaurant standards for taste, portion and presentation.
• Managing people: write schedules, train newcomers, mediate conflicts, and manage inventory and equipment.
• Enforcing safety and cleanliness: monitor temperatures, storage and hygiene, liaise with head chef and front of house.
• Solid culinary technique: perform and teach a wide range of cooking methods, from sautéing and roasting to plating.
• Problem solving under pressure: stay calm, adapt plans and resolve issues without compromising quality.
• Organizational skills: track inventory, schedule staff and coordinate multiple orders.
• Professionalism: set the tone for the kitchen with punctuality, cleanliness and respect.
