Job summary

Compass Group USA's Eurest division seeks a full-time CHEF at 600 S. 4th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55415. The role requires catering experience and a culinary degree or equivalent, with supervisor experience preferred.

Schedule is full-time, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, with duties across kitchen operations and service. You will supervise cooks and kitchen staff, ensure food quality, sanitation and portion control, manage inventory and assist with menu development, while delivering exceptional customer

Qualifications

• Catering experience and a culinary degree or equivalent required.
• Supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises cooks and kitchen staff preparing, cooking and serving food.
• Ensures food handling, sanitation and customer service standards are met.
• Oversees scheduling, payroll, training and performance reviews.
• Maintains portion control, proper serving temperatures and presentation.
• Manages inventory by tracking food use and waste.
• Inspects product and supplies for quality and quantity to ensure inventory.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment and workstation.
• Assists in recipe and menu development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
