Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior Supplier Industrialization Engineer, Chassis Systems to drive quality through development and industrialization across global suppliers. You will oversee APQP/PPAP activities, collaborate with Design Engineering, and ensure robust validation plans, while traveling internationally as needed.

The role demands deep technical expertise, cross‑functional leadership, and a track record of automotive launches within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, or high-volume manufacturing.
• At least 6 years of hands-on APQP and PPAP project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of chassis systems and associated manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency reading and interpreting drawings, specs, GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP activities with suppliers from initial design release through PPAP approval and start of production.
• Drive supplier readiness to ensure manufacturing processes meet quality, timing, and capacity objectives.
• Support new product launches and production ramp readiness activities across global suppliers.
• Ensure parts and processes achieve required maturity levels throughout development and industrialization phases.
• Lead DFMA reviews and collaborate with Design Engineering to improve manufacturability.
• Track supplier performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities to ensure successful implementation of product and process changes.
