Tesla Energy is standing up Charging Operations Excellence (OPX) to support Field Service. As Lead, you will own domain staffing, the StackRank prioritization framework, and the feedback loop that turns field actions into systemic improvements.

You will work with partner teams in Service Engineering, Asset Management, and Business Operations to support our Americas Field Service organization, with close cooperation with our Global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 7 years in operations, programs, or field leadership within energy, charging, utilities, or large-scale industrial field service, including 2+ years leading people.
• Experience standing up or scaling an operating system in a matrix with commercial operations, engineering, and field partners.
• Initiative lifecycle discipline from intake through sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Charging OPX domain including staffing plan and OKR delivery.
• Stand up and coach domain seats: Site Bring-Up, Site Lifecycle, Change Adoption, Sustainment, and Field Support Specialists.
• Maintain and improve field service prioritization framework.
• Build trust with Field Teams to act on KPI misses and drive continuous improvement.

Tesla Energy is standing up Charging Operations Excellence (OPX) to support Field Service. This org is new! You will build a team of domain experts in asset and maintenance programs, site bring-up and site lifecycle, change adoption and sustainment, and field support for Supercharger, Wall Connector, Megacharger, and next‑generation charging products.

As Lead, Charging Operations Excellence, you own domain staffing, the StackRank prioritization framework, and the feedback loop that turns field actions into systemic improvements. You will work with partner teams in Service Engineering, Asset Management, and Business Operations to support our Americas Field Service organization, with close cooperation with our Global teams.

• - Own the Charging OPX vertical end‑to‑to‑end, including the domain model, staffing plan, initiative lifecycle (triage, prioritization, feedback loop, operating review), and OKR delivery for field-system performance
• - Stand up and coach the Charging domain seats: Site Bring‑Up and Site Lifecycle, Change Adoption and Sustainment, and Field Support Specialists
• - Maintain and improve the field service prioritization framework for the world’s finest Charging network
• - Build trust with Field Teams to act on commercial scorecard and KPI misses to expand on our culture of continuous improvement
• - Partner with Charging Service Operations on a shared action list and communicate the pareto of field challenges loudly while road mapping improvement initiatives

• - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations, Business, or equivalent experience
• - Minimum of 7 years in operations, programs, or field leadership within energy, charging, utilities, or large‑scale industrial field service, including 2+ years leading people (TPMs, specialists, technicians or multi‑disciplinary program owners)
• - Proven experience standing up or scaling an operating system (domains, cadence, handoffs, RACI) in a matrix with commercial operations, engineering, and field partners
• - Initiative lifecycle discipline from intake through sustainment
