Emploive in Draper, Utah is seeking a proactive Financial Operations Analyst to join the Commercial Billing team, driving revenue integrity, billing accuracy, and customer health. You will monitor AR aging, identify trends, and perform root-cause analysis to prevent delinquencies.

You will execute the full billing lifecycle, coordinate with Legal, Tax, Sales Ops, and Accounting, and engage with repeat customers to resolve payment issues, manage plans, and negotiate terms.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in finance, operations, or billing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AR aging daily and identify trends/risks with root-cause analysis.
• Execute the full billing lifecycle from intake to delivery with accuracy and SOP alignment.

We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Financial Operations Analyst to join our Commercial Billing team. This strategic role sits at the intersection of finance, operations, and customer partnership, driving revenue integrity, billing accuracy, and long-term customer health.

Monitor AR aging daily, identify trends and risks, and perform root-cause analysis on delinquencies Execute the full billing lifecycle from intake to delivery, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and SOP alignment For complex or custom requests, coordinate cross-functionally with Legal, Tax, Sales Ops, and Accounting to define requirements and ensure proper accounting treatment Proactively engage with repeat B2B customers to resolve payment issues, manage payment plans, negotiate balanced terms, validate communications, and collaborate with Legal on advanced cases such as arbitration Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and scale operations through automation initiatives Propose and coordinate automation efforts using SQL, Power BI, workflow tools, system enhancements, or AI Maintain and monitor dashboards tracking key metrics such as AR aging, cash application accuracy, and work ticket cycle time, and any other areas assigned

Have 3–5 years of experience in finance, operations, or billing with a track record of solving complex or ambiguous problems and have evidence of exceptional ability Are fluent in Excel and comfortable using SQL alongside internal financial systems Think like a problem-solver Are driven by ownership, accuracy, continuous improvement, and a hunger to increase scope and capacity Can lead cross-team conversations even without formal authority Believe financial operations is about building trust, controlling risk, enabling partnership, and executing with completeness and accuracy Thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where innovation, creativity, and big-picture thinking are required
