Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network seeks a Charge Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care and clinical leadership in a long-term care setting. You will coordinate nursing staff assignments, monitor outcomes, and promote patient safety while ensuring regulatory compliance and quality care.

The role requires an RN license, at least one year of supervisory experience, and the ability to lift and transfer patients. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this leadership position.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience overseeing nursing staff in a long-term care or healthcare setting.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide and oversee patient care in line with nursing standards and physician plans.
• Observe, assess, document, and report patient conditions per policies and regulations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed when assigned.
• Coordinate orders and patient care plans with physicians.
• Ensure availability of equipment and supplies for patient care delivery.
• Lead nursing staff to ensure timely delivery of quality care.
