Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Charge Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care and clinical leadership within a long-term care setting. You will supervise nursing staff, coordinate care plans, and ensure adherence to standards of practice and physician-directed orders.

The role emphasizes patient safety, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize outcomes and documentation. Strong English communication and lifting ability are required.

Qualifications

• RN license in the applicable state.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in long-term care or healthcare.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide and oversee patient care per nursing standards and physician plans.
• Observe, assess, document, and report patient conditions per policies.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders and care plans.
• Coordinate equipment and supplies for patient care.
• Direct and coordinate nursing staff for timely, quality care.
• Document and communicate significant changes in patient condition to physicians/family.
