Job summary

Del Amo Behavioral Health is seeking a Charge Registered Nurse (RN) to lead nursing operations on the unit, ensuring safe, efficient patient care and effective staffing throughout the shift.

The role requires California RN licensure, psychiatric or acute care experience, and strong leadership, communication, and collaboration with physicians and the care team. This on-site position offers competitive pay and benefits under UHS.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in a psychiatric or acute care setting.
• Ability to oversee staffing, patient flow, and clinical operations.
• Strong communication with multidisciplinary teams and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead unit operations and maintain safe patient care during shifts.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and patient flow.
• Monitor staffing, assignments, and ensure 1:6 ratio where applicable.
• Provide direction and supervision to nursing staff and support teams.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and standard of care adherence.
