Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing.
• California RN license.
• CPR certification and CPI training.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Organize, manage and coordinate unit nursing services on assigned shift as delegated by Nursing Administration.
• Promote a climate of effective performance and learning through role modeling and teaching.
• Document patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services.
• Administer medications and transcribe treatment orders accurately.
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and ensure patient safety.
