AdventHealth is seeking a Charge Nurse for Labor and Delivery in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. This part-time, weekend-day program coordinates patient care across PACU, units, Radiology, and anesthesia, developing and implementing care plans while leading staff to deliver safe obstetric care.
The role requires an RN license and an Associate's degree; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Strong leadership, clinical expertise, and communication are essential to support families and promote high-quality
Qualifications
- Requires RN licensure and active nursing license.
- Strong leadership, communication and teamwork abilities.
- Able to assess patient needs and adjust care plans.
- Proficient with Windows-based systems and electronic records.
- Commitment to staff development and quality patient care.
Responsabilités
- Coordinate patient care across PACU, units, Radiology and anesthesia.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments.
- Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure quality care.
- Lead and supervise nursing staff; ensure appropriate staffing and equipment.
- Educate patients and families about care plans and self-management.
