Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate delivery of quality nursing care across the lifecycle and supervise during shifts.

The role requires Georgia RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and obstetric/oncology certifications as applicable, with at least 1 year of hospital experience; a BSN is preferred. You will collaborate with leaders and staff to ensure safe, evidence-based patient care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Georgia (required)
• BCLS (required)
• ACLS (required)
• PALS (required)
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required prior to independent chemotherapy administration
• NRP by end of orientation period (Women’s Services) required
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Program within 12 months of start date (Labor and Delivery) required
• PEARS Certification required at Piedmont Athens Hospital
• PALS if unit handles pediatric patients (Surgical Services) required
• ACLS and PALS Certification required in Emergency Department

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Provides clinical care as needed during shift when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to leaders.
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to staff.
