Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate the delivery of quality nursing care from birth through the lifecycle. You will provide clinical care as needed when census demands and communicate patient care, department issues, and staff concerns to leadership.

The position requires graduation from an accredited nursing program with GA RN licensure, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and chemotherapy/biotherapy certification as applicable, plus 1 year hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• GA RN licensure (Georgia) required.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS required.
• PALS required.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification required prior to independent chemotherapy administration (Infusion/Oncology).
• 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
• ACLS/PALS certifications required for specific units.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
• Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
• Serves as resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
