Job summary

Optimal is seeking a Change Control Analyst (CCA) to lead the change management process for NA LVEA vehicle programs. You will drive Change Control Meetings, validate CR data, and coordinate approvals across VO, PVT, PM, Finance, and PPM teams to ensure on-time, quality releases.

You will own the process from FDJ to OKTB, challenge engineering changes, and coach engineers through WERS workflows, delivering efficient, auditable change management with strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or closely related field.
• Solid understanding of Change Management processes and hands-on WERS experience preferred.
• Experience writing CRs, navigating CR screens, release intent, and coordinating production release activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate WERS Change Control and CPE DF meetings.
• Validate CR data accuracy and coach engineers in writing high-quality CRs.
• Drive cross-functional approvals and expedite CR releases.
• Manage WERS C-screen and D-screen approvals, including PIN assignments.
• Confirm cost and timing containment with plant and vehicle line teams.
• Track CR throughput, aging requests, and escalate bottlenecks.
• Issue night letters and status reports for program leadership.
