Job summary

Heritage Woods of Dwight is seeking a Lead CNA to manage schedules, cover call-offs, and supervise CNAs under the DON. You will assist residents with ADLs, promote independence, and maintain dignity while delivering compassionate care.

This role requires CNA certification, strong communication, and the ability to work weekend shifts; ongoing training and professional growth are encouraged.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• CNA certification/training required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must demonstrate love, compassion, and dignity in care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CNA schedules under the supervision of the DON and cover open shifts as needed.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and dignity.
• Train CNAs and provide ongoing staff development.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Engage with residents and families to create a compassionate and positive experience.
