Job summary

Heritage Woods of Dwight in Dwight, IL is seeking a Lead CNA to manage schedules and call-off coverage, provide resident care, train CNAs, and assist the DON. Must cover open shifts as needed and work at least one weekend per month. CNA certification/training required.

You will coordinate nursing aide schedules under the Director of Nursing, perform ADL assistance with dignity, report changes to the clinical team, and support a compassionate resident experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification from an accredited program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve with love, compassion and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the nursing aide schedule under DON supervision.
• Assist with clerical duties as requested.
• Assist residents with ADLs while promoting independence and dignity.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Engage with residents and families to create a positive experience.
• Participate in ongoing education and staff meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of information.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $20.50 Hourly

Heritage Woods of Dwight seeks a Lead CNA to manage schedules and call-off coverage, provide resident care, train CNAs, and assist the DON. Must cover open shifts as needed and work at least one weekend per month. CNA certification/training required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), supports coordination of the nursing aide schedule
• Assists with various clerical duties as requested
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident and employee information

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
