Responsibilities

Job Summary:

+ Lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks in support of physician practice operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
  2. Serve as a technical or functional resource and perform similar duties with staff.
  3. Assign, monitor, and review progress of work.
  4. Monitor and report compliance with policies and/or procedures.
  5. Oversee and evaluate orientation and training of assigned associates.
  6. Provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance possible.
  7. Inventory clinical supplies and place supply orders to maintain desired levels.
  8. Receive and organize the handling of medication samples.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  1. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  2. Medical Assistant obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  1. High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

Certified MA; Customer Service skill; 1 year leadership experience; 1 year Medical Office experience; computer skills; Team building skills
