Norman Regional Health System seeks a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to lead hand and upper-extremity rehabilitation. The role includes evaluating patients, designing custom orthoses, and coordinating post-surgical and injury recovery plans. Collaboration with hand surgeons and multidisciplinary teams is essential.

The ideal candidate holds a PT or OT license, a CHT credential, and advanced experience in orthopedic rehab, with a focus on patient education and documentation accuracy.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or DOT preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehabilitation experience.
• Current state PT or OT license, CPR/BLS certification, CHT credential.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Provide hand/upper-extremity rehab and orthotic fabrication.
• Document delivery of therapy services.
• Directs and supervises OTAs, students and support staff.
• Educate patients on orthosis wear, care, and precautions.
• Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, therapists; participate in care planning.
