Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh's Immunologic Monitoring and Cellular Products Laboratory (IMCPL) seeks a Manager, Cell Therapy Process and Analytical Development to lead cell therapy process development and analytical capabilities. This role directs day-to-day operations, mentors staff, and coordinates with QC, QA, Manufacturing, and investigators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in cell therapy or related field.
• Experience leading scientific teams and driving project milestones.
• Strong collaboration with QC/QA, Manufacturing, and investigators.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and managerial leadership for cell therapy process development and analytical capabilities at IMCPL.
• Supervise assigned staff and coordinate multidisciplinary work; communicate progress and risks to leadership.
• Lead development, validation, and technology transfer of processes to Manufacturing and QC; ensure product quality and comparability.
