Casella-Waste-Systems,-Inc.-1 is seeking a CDL Lead Driver to oversee a group of drivers and ensure smooth operations. This non-routed role focuses on training and career path progression, with a Hiring Range of $28-$33 per hour.

The Lead Driver will train drivers on inspections, safety procedures, and route execution, while coordinating with dispatch to maximize efficiency and service quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card required.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a group of drivers daily to ensure routes are serviced on time and coordinates with management.
• Educates and trains new drivers on pre/post trip inspections and safety protocols.
• Trains drivers to safely operate CDL trucks on designated routes and read route sheets.
• Completes training documentation and paperwork for daily operations.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Class B CDL License with air brake endorsement
