Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality in the Greater Burlington Area, MA is seeking a Catering Manager to oversee client catering events, lead catering staff, ensure top-quality food and service, and coordinate with the Chef or General Manager. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, safe food handling, and cost control.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree with 3–5 years in catering or hospitality, plus ServSafe, Choke Safety, Allergen Awareness (MA), and TIPS Alcohol certifications.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree; 3-5 years' experience in similar position.
• ServSafe Certification, Choke Safety Certification, Allergen Awareness Certification (MA), and TIPS Alcohol Certification are required.
• Strong leadership, customer service, and staff supervision experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute client catering events in line with Chef/GM standards.
• Lead and supervise catering staff and other staff as assigned.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and final presentation of food and service.
• Coordinate event setup, timing, and decor in collaboration with clients and venue.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and cost controls while meeting budget targets.
