Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality in Bridgewater, NJ is seeking a Catering Manager to oversee client catering events, lead staff, and ensure exemplary service from menu planning to final presentation.

You will coordinate with the General Manager or Chef, manage event setup, supervise cooks, handle vendor relations, and uphold safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced kitchen and event environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a similar position.
• ServSafe Certification
• Choke Safety Certification
• Allergen Awareness Certification
• TIPS Alcohol Certification

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, execution and coordination of catering events with the General Manager or Chef.
• Provide oversight of catering services to ensure client and customer satisfaction.
• Meet with prospective clients to review event requirements including menu, setup, and scheduling.
• Assist in set-up/breakdown of events including seating, decorations and displays; supervise staff.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and product quality standards; manage vendor relationships and supply inventories.
