The role emphasizes safety, guest service excellence, and adherence to Alaska Native cultural values while supporting continuous improvement and collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Age 21+ requirement.
• Certifications in Alaska TAP, Alaska Food Handlers, CPR/First Aid.
• Valid US driver’s license required.
• Must pass security background check and DOT drug test.
• Pre-employment drug screening is required by Coast Guard.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance and positive cultural standards.
• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, personable manner.
• Work as part of a team to provide high-quality guest experiences.
• Serve food and drinks with hospitality and attentiveness.
• Describe menu items accurately to guests and answer questions.
• Set up dining rooms and food stations for tours.
• Clean and sanitize tables, utensils, and facilities between tours.
• Restock retail shop and manage inventory transfers between facilities.
• Follow food health and safety regulations at all times.
• Support other crew in food prep, bar, and lodge upkeep.
