Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of cashiering experience and leadership training
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor and ability to interact with customers as a role model
• Ability to operate front-end equipment: register, calculator, scanner
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized; capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of cashiers and assist with store operations
• Proactively support cashiers and provide direction at registers
• Assign store sweeps and monitor cash register supply levels; maintain restrooms and parking lot cleanliness
• Maintain security by monitoring exit doors and loss prevention practices
• Schedule breaks and oversee proper meal/rest breaks per policy and state requirements
• Assist in hiring and training new cashiers and address disciplinary actions
