Job summary

Under supervision, you may supervise other cashiers or lead workers and assist in training, scheduling, and maintaining accuracy of cash

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or GED and two years of cashiering or cash handling experience.
• Must pass a rigid background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Collect and account for customer payments for services, fees, utility bills, taxes, fines, licenses, permits or admissions.
• Perform data entry to record payments in the financial management system.
• Prepare and verify daily deposits and reconcile daily sales/receipts.
