Job summary

Coach is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver a memorable luxury retail experience in our store. You will greet customers, process transactions, and help maintain store standards while representing the Coach Guide to Style and Service.

Ideal candidates have strong English communication, prior POS experience, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including peak times. Training and advancement opportunities are available along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of sales experience (luxury retail preferred); knowledge of fashion trends and competitors.
• Experience with POS operation and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong English language proficiency.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, peak retail days and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and act as an Insider Program ambassador.
• Engage customers at Cashwrap and in line; assess needs and provide solutions.
• Capture customer information accurately and securely.
• Complete end-of-shift audits; process returns, repairs, and damaged items per policy.
• Maintain SKU accuracy, cash wrap organization, and cleanliness.
• Suggest add-ons and promote gift cards.
• Handle cash/media accurately and deliver purchases.
• Assist with cashier training and report equipment issues.
• Represent Coach as a brand ambassador; adhere to style and service standards.
• Stay composed under pressure; multitask and prioritize.
• Communicate clearly and confidently; influence customer decisions.
• Adapt to customer needs and awareness of surroundings.
• Tech-savvy and eager to learn new systems.
• Knowledgeable about products, store policies, and procedures.
• Demonstrate integrity, ownership, and collaboration.
