Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to ensure efficient guest transactions and maintain cashwrap standards, cleanliness, and overall store aesthetics.

You will train new cashiers, assist in coaching peers, and lead by example to drive loyalty results, sales performance, and exceptional guest service.

Flexibility is required for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as you collaborate with managers to create a welcoming shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and selling.
• Experience addressing guests’ concerns promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store sales, loyalty, and service goals.
• Provide exceptional guest service, greeting guests and personalizing service to meet needs.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges smoothly.
• Pair guests with associates for makeup applications and demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments and support in-store events to enhance guest experience and sales.
• Replenish and maintain cashwrap displays and impulse fixtures for guest-readiness.
• Maintain consistent attendance and reliability.
