Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Farragut, TN seeks a Lead Cashier to drive guest experiences and loyalty, manage cash wrap operations, and train new cashiers. This role emphasizes outstanding service, accuracy in transactions, and leadership within the store team.

The Lead Cashier will support the store leadership, ensure cleanliness and presentation of the cashwrap, and contribute to achieving sales goals through proactive guest engagement and product demonstrations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty (including credit).
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging guests and recommending Ulta Beauty products and/or services.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Pair guests with an associate to perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest service.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while delivering on sales goals.
• Replenish, organize, and maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures to ensure guest-readiness at all times.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Assist in training of new cashiers and cross-training of other associates.
