Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to optimize guest transactions, loyalty engagement and team performance in a fast-paced retail environment. You will mentor cashiers, manage the cashwrap area, and collaborate with store leadership to exceed sales goals.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, processing transactions, guiding makeup applications and product demonstrations, and ensuring overall store readiness. A high school diploma is preferred and prior cashiering experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2+ years in retail or cashiering preferred.
• Strong guest service and sales skills.
• Ability to train new cashiers and cross-train staff.

Responsibilities

• Drive courteous guest service and make personal product recommendations.
• Handle transactions, returns and exchanges accurately.
• Assist in training cashiers and cross-training associates.
• Maintain cashwrap displays and store cleanliness at all times.
• Support leadership by opening/closing registers and monitoring loyalty programs.
