Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a Lead Cashier responsible for efficient guest transactions, cashwrap standards, and maintaining store aesthetics. The role includes training new cashiers, cross-training peers, and supporting loyalty and credit initiatives to drive sales.

You will lead by example, ensure accurate handling of returns and exchanges, manage register openings/closes, and help sustain high guest service levels through product knowledge and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty and shrink as set by Ulta Beauty.
• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting, engaging, personalizing service, and recommending products/services.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges with courtesy and accuracy.
• Pair guests with associates for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and demos to drive sales.
• Book appointments for and support in-store services and events to enhance the guest experience while achieving sales goals.
• Maintain replenishment and organization of cashwrap displays and ensure guest-readiness at all times.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
