Job summary

Ulta Beauty is hiring a Lead Cashier to ensure fast, friendly guest transactions and uphold cashwrap standards. The LC will train new cashiers, cross-train associates, and drive loyalty results through excellent service, credit focus, and teamwork across store operations.

Responsibilities include supervising open/close in registers, assisting with makeup services, and maintaining displays to optimize guest experience. Strong communication and urgency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Demonstrated knowledge and passion for guest service and a competency for selling.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty (including credit), and retail shrink.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging, personalizing service, and recommending Ulta Beauty products and/or services.
• Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Pair guests with an associate for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events delivering exceptional guest experiences while meeting sales goals.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures to ensure guest-readiness at all times.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Collaborate with managers and associates to grow the business.
