Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Lead Cashier to drive guest transactions, loyalty engagement, and training of new cashiers. The role emphasizes service excellence, cash handling accuracy, and collaboration with store leadership to meet sales goals.

The position requires a focus on the guest experience, teamwork, and adherence to store standards. Flexible schedule and physical store presence are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 2 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Proven ability to delegate, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Experience addressing guests concerns and questions promptly and professionally to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales goals and training new hires.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, omni-channel, guest loyalty (including credit), and retail shrink.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging, personalizing service, and recommending Ulta Beauty products and/or services.
• Courteously handle sales, refunds, and exchanges.
• Pair guests with an associate for makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver unrivaled guest experiences while achieving sales goals.
• Maintain cashwrap displays, supplies, and impulse fixtures to ensure guest-readiness.
