Job summary

Ace Hardware is seeking a Head Cashier to manage the front-end operations, deliver exceptional service, and oversee cash handling for all transactions. This role emphasizes training cashiers, maintaining queue efficiency, and upholding store policies.

You will coordinate with store management, assist with shifts, promote Ace Rewards, and ensure the front-end area stays clean, well-stocked, and welcoming for customers.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to every guest at the front end.
• Lead cashiers and assist in training front-end staff.
• Perform register transactions quickly and accurately per cash control procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized front-end displays and queue area.
• Troubleshoot POS problems and resolve issues efficiently.
• Monitor lines and call for backup cashiers when needed.
• Enforce store policies and safety procedures with the team.
• Assist with scheduling and communication within the department.
