Job summary

Ace Retail Group, a division of Ace Hardware Corporation, is seeking a reliable Cashier to process transactions, assist customers, and contribute to a friendly store environment. You will handle checkout operations and help customers locate products with a positive attitude.

Applicants should have cashier or customer service experience, be comfortable standing and lifting up to 25 lbs, and maintain a neat front end area. Training provided.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Cashier experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering and throughout the store.
• Project a positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware.
• Answer and monitor calls and pages promptly, courteously and effectively.
• Assist in pricing, stocking, marking and bagging of merchandise.
• Keep the front end neat and clean; face and dust front end.
• Inform management when merchandise returns need to be put away.
