Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking a Head Cashier to manage front-end operations and cashier activities at our Jefferson City location in Missouri. You will lead cashiers, ensure smooth checkout, and uphold exceptional customer service while assisting store operations.

The role requires cashier experience, customer service skills, and the ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and work with a team to meet store goals.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Experience in retail and/or office management preferred.
• Cashier experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and project a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive store image.
• Handle cash register transactions, returns, and balance the drawer with accuracy and speed.
• Assist with deposits, cash room tasks, and store audits as needed.
• Provide office support including invoices, purchase orders, and inventory adjustments.
• Support training and development of new cashiers and assist the Assistant Manager-Operations.
