Lowe's Home Centers, LLC in Norcross, GA is seeking a cashier focused on delivering superior customer service and efficient checkout experiences. You will assist customers with locating products, answering questions, and processing sales at the register.

The role requires basic computer and retail tech skills, a minimum one year of cashier experience, and a commitment to store safety and teamwork. This is a full-time, on-site position at a Lowe's store in Georgia.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsabilidades

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Listsens to and responds knowledgeably to customer and employee questions by guiding them through projects
• Communicates information to customers regarding stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, and warranty information
• Coaches, develops, and trains associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities (CSA Front End Team)
• Uses a cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds
• Provides proper monetary change to Front End associates for register activities
• Removes security tags, verifies product information, and bags merchandise
• Prepares register area at shift start/end and stocks supplies
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages
• Enters and submits customer orders, prints order tickets, verifies receipts, and signs loading tickets
• Looks up product information and price match comparisons
• Records items used in the store on the store use lists
• Completes cash counting and daily reconciliation duties
• Monitors cash in drawer and cash recycler levels
• Monitors store entrances/exits and assists customers or associates with alarms
• Detects signs of shoplifting and communicates to management/Asset Protection
• Ensures compliance with housekeeping standards and safe working environment
• Adheres to safety requirements and uses safety devices
• Operates store equipment as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned
