Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Tilton, NH is seeking a dedicated team member to provide excellent customer service at the front end of the store.

You will help customers locate, load, and compare merchandise while operating the cash register and handling returns in line with company policies. Responsibilities include assisting customers, answering questions, explaining product features and warranty information, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement.
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs
• Seeks out customers to understand their needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise
• Listens to and responds knowledgeably and promptly to customer and employee questions by taking them to areas of the store and walking them through projects when necessary
• Communicates information to customers regarding all stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, application, and warranty information related to Lowe’s programs
• Coaches, develops, provides feedback, and trains associates in the various departmental duties or sales opportunities (CSA Front End Team)
• Uses a cash register to process sales transactions, returns, and refunds according to company guidelines
• Removes security tags, verifies product information, and bags merchandise for customers
