Lowe’s Companies, Inc. invites applications for a cashier role at our Minnesota location. You will excel in customer service, help shoppers find and load merchandise, and process transactions at the register with accuracy.

You’ll also assist with price checks, return processing, and maintaining a safe, clean store environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, training, and adherence to Lowe’s policies. Experience in retail cashiering is preferred; job may involve various departments and shift

Formación

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law

Responsabilidades

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe's policies
• Assists customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
• Responds to customer and employee questions promptly and guides them through projects
• Provides information on stock, special order merchandise, feature benefits, and warranty details
• Coaches and trains associates in department duties and sales opportunities
• Processes sales transactions, returns, and refunds at the register
• Ensures proper monetary change and cash handling
• Inspects returned merchandise for damages
• Prepares register area and stocking supplies at shift start and end
• Looks up product information and price matches competitors when needed
• Monitors store safety, housekeeping, and security practices
• Operates store equipment as required by department
