Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused associate at our Knoxville store. You will assist customers, locate and demonstrate merchandise, and guide them through projects. You will also process sales, returns, and refunds while upholding Lowe’s policies and safety standards.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work across departments to meet customer needs. Prior cashier experience is preferred and ongoing coaching is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement.
• 1 Year Retail experience as a cashier.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provides SMART customer service at all times through Lowe’s customer service policies.
• Seeks out customers to understand needs and assists in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise.
• Responds knowledgeably to questions and guides customers through projects when necessary.
• Communicates information regarding stock, special orders, warranties, and Lowe’s programs.
• Coaches, develops, and trains associates in departmental duties and sales opportunities.
