Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a County Casework Supervisor for Lycoming CYS Joinder’s Assessment Services Unit. The role oversees intake, assessment, referral, and case management for short-term and crisis intervention services and supervises casework staff to ensure consistent service delivery. Work hours are 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional social work experience or 12 college credits in related social sciences.
• Bachelor's degree with major in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences.
• PA residency required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee referrals to ensure timely assessment and service delivery.
• Assign cases, monitor progress, and review documentation.
• Supervise staff through regular conferences and trainings.
• Coordinate transitions to longer-term services and community resources.
• Collaborate with executive staff and other units.
• Provide public educational programs to promote awareness.
