Evergreen Recovery Centers in Washington, DC seeks a LEAD Case Manager to respond to police referrals and provide intensive case management for individuals diverted from the criminal justice system. You will perform street outreach, engage participants at service sites, coordinate with partners, provide advocacy in court, and transport clients to appointments using agency vehicles.

A bachelor’s degree in social work or related field is preferred; Washington driver’s license and background checks

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology or related field preferred.
• Two years’ experience with the target population or five+ years if no degree.
• Understanding of harm reduction and homelessness/behavioral health needed.
• Valid Washington State Driver’s License required.
• Background check and drug test required.

Mansioni

• Respond to police referrals and provide engagement and intensive case management.
• Provide advocacy and support within the criminal justice system.
• Accompany and transport participants to appointments using agency vehicles.
• Engage participants on the street and at service facilities to establish trust.
• Collaborate with LEAD partners, service providers and housing providers.
