Housewrights, a premier residential design-build firm in south-central Wisconsin, seeks a Lead Carpenter to lead remodeling and new home construction from start to finish. This hands-on, site-based role requires strong carpentry skills, problem-solving, and the ability to guide other carpenters while coordinating with subcontractors and homeowners.

You will work Monday–Friday with competitive pay, health and dental benefits, PTO, and opportunities for growth within a locally respected company

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in residential construction or remodeling.
• Strong framing, trim work and finish carpentry skills.
• Ability to manage job sites and coordinate with subcontractors and homeowners.
• Reliable, self-motivated and team-oriented. Wisconsin codes knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Lead on-site carpentry for remodeling and new homes from start to finish.
• Oversee daily job site activities and coordinate materials.
• Guide and supervise other carpenters and liaise with subcontractors and homeowners.
