Eby Exteriors in Ephrata, PA is seeking a skilled Carpenter Foreman to lead residential remodeling projects from start to finish. You will manage crews, oversee framing and finish carpentry, install windows/doors, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in residential carpentry with 2+ years in a foreman role, plus strong leadership and communication skills. A valid driver's license and OSHA 10 are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential carpentry, remodeling, or construction experience.
• 2+ years in a foreman, crew leader, or lead carpenter role.
• Strong knowledge of framing, general carpentry, and finish carpentry.
• Experience with kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, additions, and interior renovations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, measurements, and project documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Professional and respectful when interacting with homeowners, coworkers, and subcontractors.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (MVR background check required).
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise carpenters and other crew members on residential remodeling projects.
• Perform and oversee carpentry work including demolition, framing, trim and finish carpentry, cabinetry, and other interior and exterior remodeling work.
• Install and oversee the installation of windows, doors, interior trim, molding, and other building components.
• Manage daily jobsite activities to maintain safety, cleanliness, productivity, and project schedules.
• Review blueprints, drawings, project scopes, and material requirements before and throughout each project.
• Lay out work and assign tasks to crew members based on project needs and individual skill levels.
• Inspect completed and ongoing work to ensure proper workmanship, code compliance, and company quality standards.
• Identify jobsite challenges and work with the Project Manager to resolve issues efficiently.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades when necessary to keep projects moving forward.
• Serve as a professional on-site representative of Eby Exteriors when interacting with homeowners.
• Track job progress, crew hours, materials, and project needs and communicate updates to the Project Manager.
• Train, mentor, and provide feedback to carpenters and other team members.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly used, maintained, secured, and stored.
• Participate in project planning meetings, jobsite meetings, and safety briefings.
• Lead by example in maintaining a safe, organized, and professional jobsite.
